Teaching Computer Networks across Networks

The paper presents different tools for distance learning that are, for example, applied for teaching a course on advanced computer networks at the Technical University of Braunschweig. Distance learning in this case comprises on-line teaching across the Internet as well as an Internet-based learning environment that provides teaching material via WWW-pages. Interactive simulation experiments and video clips of courses are included in this environment.
